"During my time at The Impact Venture Fellowship, I was assigned to three live deals ranging from Seed to Series B stages. With the support and guidance of the program, I participated in founder calls, conducted due diligence interviews, and analyzed data rooms.

One of the most transformative aspects of the experience was the use of the AI Due Diligence Copilot. It enabled us to generate comprehensive due diligence reports within minutes—an incredible tool that empowered fellows, especially those without prior investment or deal experience, to follow a structured due diligence framework.

The platform supported me by analyzing all documents in the data room, identifying key investment risks, and generating customized follow-up questions and information gap summaries for startups. This approach not only accelerated our learning curve but also provided meaningful, hands-on exposure to the full investment process in a tech-enabled environment.

" As a Fellow at The Impact Venture, I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate startups tackling pressing global challenges. One of the standout resources during this experience has been the AI Copilot.

The tool allows me to bypass the time-consuming task of manually searching through  data rooms and research materials. By asking direct questions, I can quickly access relevant insights, whether it's on market sizing, founder backgrounds, or technology differentiators. This has been especially valuable if startups have gone through multiple financing rounds.

What I appreciate most is that the AI Copilot doesn’t replace judgment. It gives me a stronger foundation to ask better questions in founder meetings and to draft clearer, more comprehensive investment memos. As the tool continues to improve, I believe it will become an indispensable asset for venture investors navigating today’s fast-moving landscape.."

"Through my training I understood how much more efficient nuclear batteries are, some technologies may even provide 10+ years of stable and uninterrupted energy, for less cost than existing batteries. This research not only helped me understand trends and market gaps from an investor perspective, but also helped me grasp better the technologies of innovative companies and formulate a thorough investment memo on why should someone invest in nuclear batteries.

Now I'm using the Impact Venture AI tool to conduct due diligence, which helps us go through quickly hundreds of documents to find the answer you're looking for. Instead of entering keywords into the dropbox search bar, you just ask a question and the tool finds that information for you."

" The Impact Venture AI tool is great for aggregating data for startups the fund has invested in or considered, information about the sector and the technologies used in the sector, and startup fundraising history. "

Every time I read a startup’s pitch deck, I’m impressed by the wonder it creates in my mind. However, I’ve realized that when allocating capital, the consideration isn’t always which idea sounds the ”best”, but which one do I believe will come to fruition.

During the training program, my specific research sector was Grid Infrastructure. Grid Infrastructure was an industry that I had little familiarity with, which is why I was intrigued to study it. The space is dominated by investors from Oil/Gas Companies, clean energy-focused family offices, and endowments."
